This 1969 album, the fifth (and fifth charting) collaboration between Rod McKuen and Anita Kerr, was the most romantic record they recorded. However, it was no exercise in syrupy sentimentality, but rather a lyrical look at love. Fun fact: the “Joey Benson” credited with narration on this album is actually Warner Bros. president Joe Smith!
